KGIS’s strange Grammar and UBC’s individual course

Every day the first curriculum is grammar in KGIC. I studied the difference between ‘could’ and ‘was/were able to’, but I am not quite convincing. After school I checked my English Grammar book in Japanese described another definition of the difference. Unn…. However, at least In Canada, I should follow my teacher.
After KGIC, once I came back home , I went to University of British Columbia , UBC , Robson Campus. The campus is nere the Vancouver Art Gallery and Ice skate link. I took UBC’s individual course , which is called the continuing study , ‘Mobile Strategy and Marketing’. The course consist of 3 hours lecture a week and 4 weeks.
Unlike KGIC teachers, UBC teacher, who is not a professor and is a business person, spoke normally. So I could hardly understand what he said. And also two assignent required students. Except me , all students are native Canadian , I think. Huu… I was exhausted. However the first lecture is pretty interested. He gave me several mobile advertisement which I haven’t ever known. Until next week, I have to do a bit of assignment.
